One of my favourite dishes is Bulgogi, a Korean dish consisting of grilled marinated beef, pork or chicken. If you haven’t tried it, please do so. Bulgogi is listed at number 23 on World’s 50 most delicious foods, a reader’s poll compiled by CNN in 2011.
When we’re in Palm Springs, we like to go to Maru for Korean BBQ and Grilled foods. Maru is located in a busy strip mall on the NE corner of Washington and Hwy 111. When you walk in, you can sit on either side of the restaurant. If you want to cook your own food, you can do so with the built-in grills at your table. It’s an interesting experience grilling your own food but if you bring kids, you may want to opt out of cooking and have food served to you instead.
Maru has an extensive menu and can cater to anyone looking for good authentic Korean food. Any of the Bulgogi dishes are tasty and are must try’s. So are the Kalbi’s which are the BBQ short ribs marinated in sesame oil and soya sauce.
